About Sharmelle's Travels

I'm Sharmelle Thomas, and I'm thrilled to have you here on my website. Travel has been my passion from the very beginning, reflecting my independent and adventurous nature as a proud Gen Xer. I was born in England, raised in the southern United States, and currently reside in Louisville, KY when I'm not exploring the world. I can't wait to share my extraordinary journey with you. 

While I embrace the single life with open arms, my dedication to my parents makes me the best daughter at least half the time. And as a proud sibling, I hold the title of my sister's favorite all the time. Besides being an avid traveler, I'm also a part-time foodie who loves indulging in delightful culinary experiences. Thrilling adventures, heartwarming concerts, and captivating books are always on my radar. One of my favorite Bible verses, Mark 16:15, resonates with me because it captures the essence of travel itself.  

I've explored over 16 countries and 25 states, spanning the U.S., Europe, and Asia. The diverse cultures and flavors I've encountered along the way have mesmerized me. Iceland, in particular, surprised me. Although it wasn't initially at the top of my travel list, I had the chance to visit towards the end of the pandemic when other destinations were closed. The stunning landscapes, from countless waterfalls to an active volcano, left me in awe. Iceland now holds a special place in my heart, and I can't wait to visit again. This experience reminded me of how travel can open doors and broaden horizons in unexpected ways. Looking ahead, I'm eagerly anticipating an incredible adventure to multiple countries in Africa within the next year or so. It's a dream that fills me with anticipation, and I'm determined to make it a vivid reality.  

My love for travel sparked my journey as an entrepreneur in the travel industry. I experienced the limitations of living paycheck to paycheck in corporate America, which drove me to find a solution that opens up new income opportunities. That's why I established my own travel business with a comprehensive toolkit and step-by-step system designed to empower individuals like you to build successful ventures that seamlessly fit into your busy schedule.  

As a travel advisor, I take immense pride in my industry achievements, such as being recognized as a Dream Maker and Travel Genius. When working with clients, I go above and beyond to book their desired trips and provide personalized recommendations for activities that strike the perfect balance between fun, adventure, and relaxation. My ultimate goal is to help them return to their everyday lives feeling rejuvenated and refreshed.  

While assisting my clients is deeply gratifying, I have a special passion for empowering others to embark on their own entrepreneurial journey in the travel industry. To date, I've guided over 25 aspiring "travelpreneurs" on their path to starting their travel businesses, earning the prestigious Gold Builder status within my company. I maintain a strong connection with my team, encouraging them to unlock extra income so that they can earn and save with a successful business. Through continuous coaching and mentoring, I empower them to expand their businesses, stay updated on the latest travel trends, and build a loyal clientele.
